Carve the turkey, play some Ys... doesn't that sound like the perfect holiday? Well you'll be able to live the dream this year because Ys: Memories of Celceta is releasing on your Vita on November 23rd.

Haven't immersed yourself in the Ys universe? Well, its been around for over 20 years now and practically invented the "action RPG" so you should take the time to learn, son! This would be a great time to get involved, as Celceta is a remake of Ys IV which has never before appeared in the West.

If you decide to go down that path you could spend the $39.99 for the standard edition or you COULD spend a few bucks more (like $20) and take home the Silver Anniversary edition instead. Those lucky ones will get not only the Vita game, but also a 3 CD collection of all the music from all the Ys games, remastered. There's also a cloth map, a sweet compass and "Adol's Journal", a 130 page book of strategies and artwork. Neat!

I'm not 100% positive but I think that Ys may have appeared on more systems than any other franchise. I played it on the fairly rare Turbo-Grafx CD but it also appeared on things like the X68000, MSX 2 and even the Sega Saturn. There really is a lot of history in this series and it tends to be more action packed than the average RPG. TPS says "check it out!"
