We're getting closer and closer to the DAY. The day Vita owners rejoice. The day we've been promised for two years now. That's right, it's just about time for Final Fantasy X/X2 HD Remaster to come out. AT LONG LAST.

We've been seeing a steady stream on new media for the past year, and now we've gotten so close to the release date that Square-Enix has decided it is time to grace up with a video of the opening cinematic. If you have any familiarity with the series at all, you know that these cinematics tend to be grand affairs and this remastered version is no exception.

Those who have played the PS2 originals already know to be prepared for the destruction of Spira, but newcomers might be awed by the sheer magnitude of the disaster that strikes the city and how strikingly well the Visual Works team was able to portray the disaster.

We're days away from the game release, so be sure to clear out a lot of room on the old memory card (if you go all digital you're looking at 7GB of space, son!) and clear some space in your schedule for the 100+ hours it'll take to run through both games. In the meantime, take a long look at the intro below. Tell me you don't have goosebumps!
