Double Dose Of Dragon's Crown

Vanillaware and Atlus brought back the arcade beat'em up in a big way earlier this year with Dragon's Crown on both the PS3 and the Vita. We had a great time dealing damage with our dwarf and annihilating all the animosity with our amazon.

Yes, it was too bad you couldn't buy one and get both versions, and it's even worse that you couldn't cross-play! You could, oddly enough, cross-save though. While Atlus didn't figure out a way to add in cross-buy, they DID find a way to add in cross-play, and that will be coming any day now in a new patch! That's right, your Vita toting friend can play with you on your PS3 while you both chill out on the couch and relax together!

Since they couldn't find a way to make cross-buy viable they decided they COULD help out a bit by dropping the price on both versions by $10 for the next month. That's right, you can pick up the PS3 version for $39.99 and the Vita version for a cool $29.99. Get both and save $20! And then you can control two party members at the same time if you can find a place to get another pair of arms.

Also on sale are the two announcer packs that switch up the audio a bit. You can grab either one for $1.49 right now. Those packs do add some more personality to the game and I advise picking them up if you are going to run through the game a few times. It's a good time to be a Dragon's Crown owner, and it's a good time to become one if you aren't already!
