A New Trailer Appears! It Seems To Be Atomic Ninjas!

What exactly makes a ninja "atomic"? Excellent question!

Our good friends at Grip Games are some dedicated and hard-working developers. For the last four years the upstart Czech studio has delivered the fun but overlooked Foosball 2012 to the PS3 and Vita along with the excellent Mini One Epic Game to your PSP (or Vita). They've also done a handful of ports from iOS to Sony with titles like The Impossible Game and MiniSquadron. Now they are set for what is probably their most exciting project to date with Atomic Ninjas for both the PS3 and Vita.

As you can see from the gameplay footage below, Atomic Ninjas looks to be a bright, colorful and fun action platformer that may or may not take some cues from classic frantic online deathmatch games like Soldat or even early PSN title Crash Commando.

Details are still a bit sketchy, but it looks like the game supports up to 7 players, and if you can't find any real friends bots are available to round out the rosters (but really, where is the fun in that). The battles take place across 7 arenas filled with hazards like lava pits, laser beams, traps, moving platforms and falling crates. The catch here is that you don't have any weapins to kill with, instead you must lure your opponent into those hazards! Atomic Ninjas also features upgradable abilities and a multitude of modes for your murdering mayhem. We'll be sure to keep you updated with more details on this cool cross-platform code (I bet this plays AMAZING on the Vita) but for now check out the trailer to see how pretty it all looks!
