Army Corps of Hell Will Launch With Vita
It's Pikmin gone terribly, terribly wrong.

Look, you're excited for the Vita, I'm excited for the Vita. The people of Japan are excited for the Vita, so much so that around 700 people lined up in the rain to pre-order the handheld. All that said, we really don't know a whole lot about the console's launch lineup. We do know that Sony claims there will be 26 games available, with hundreds more planned.
One of the launch games will be Army Corps of Hell, a funky little thing that centers around the "King of Hell." His powers have been removed and like many others, his job was cut in an attempt to save funding on torture budget. You'll have an army of goblins to control as you attempt to take back what was once yours and you can hop online for some four-player local multiplayer. From looking at the game's assets it looks like a mini version of Overlord: Raising Hell, which is a game I'll defend until the end of time (the sequel on the other hand...).
So that's about all we have at the moment. We do have some more Vita details to pass along, including that the system is region free and that it will not support PS One Classics on day one for the Japanese launch. Those quotes come from directly from Shuhei Yoshida himself but do keep in mind that it doesn't necessarily mean that those of us in the United States (or even Europe) will face the same thing.
As the release draws near be sure to check back here at TPS for our launch blowout. We still don't know what games will be out on day one with the system and there's still tons to be announced in the coming months. You can trust us to stay on top of things, we're good at stuff like that.
