LucasArts Searches for the Real-Life Thrillville

And you can help 'em find it.

Theme parks are one of the few things that seem to provide equal fun no matter how old you get. We'd probably throw video games into that group too, but then we're a little partial to 'em considering they help pay our bills. Luckily, this is a story about both, considering we're talking about Thrillville here. More specifically, it's a contest for the game designed around finding the best theme parks in the US.

As Nancy MacIntyre, LucasArts' VP of Global Sales and Marketing puts it, "if not for great theme parks stretching the country from Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ, to Paramount's Great America in Santa Clara, CA, Thrillville wouldn't exist in the first place. Sponsoring this survey is our way of honoring the inspiration behind the game - even if the park you create in Thrillville could very well best them all!"

Given that we were completely enamored with the game when we took it through its paces a few days ago, we'd say there's more than a little potential to have the game end up being better than anything that could be cooked up by real-life park designers. Still, you have your chance to vote on which parks rock the Sickest Roller Coaster, the Best Midway Game and which is the Best Hangout (funny, these are the three cornerstones of Trillville's gameplay.

You can throw down your recommendations by heading over to the official site and cast your vote. Hurry, though, you only have until the 14th, and the winners will be announced along with the game's release a week later.
