Have you ever wondered what it might be like to manage a chain of supermarkets? For those of you who aren't pursuing my dream job, Supermarket Mania is probably the closest you will ever get.
G5 Entertainment announced today that Supermarket Mania, their newest PSP Mini, will be available for purchase though the PlayStation Store starting on May 18th. The time-management game has players assisting a fine lady named Nikki with her booming grocery chain.
As Nikki, players will perform several tasks including stocking shelves, serving a multitude of (sometimes angry or hard-to-please) customers, and dealing with punk teenagers who feel they don't need to pay for merchandise. Shoo!
If those challenges don't seem sinister enough, you must also compete with the TORG Corporation – a mega chain staffed by robots. Throughout fifty levels and five different shops, players will fight for customers in a battle for grocery store supremacy.
The Mini will be released at a price of $4.99. Remember, Minis can be played directly from any PS3 console, so a PSP system isn't necessary.
