Have I told you all that I love Nippon Ichi Software? If you've read any of my other stories here on our website, then you may already know this. If not... then there is - I love Nippon Ichi Software! They have a sick sense of humor, it's true. But I can't help but laugh when it comes to games like Disgaea and Makai Kingdom. Their games also have a certain beauty to them - even some touching scenes. The Ar Tonelico games come to mind there and several in the Atelier series. All of this being said it's time for all eyes to focus on their new addition to the line up: Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger VS. Darkdeath Evilman!!

Yes - that's the whole name of the game. And I don't want to ruin too much for you because we have a great review in the works. But imagine, if you will, that you start at the end. That's right. You start with the final boss. The Unlosing Ranger is battling Darkdeath Evilman to rescue Super Baby! When suddenly... *BOOM*... our hero is dead and a random, weak, nerdy passerby is bestowed with The Unlosing Ranger's powers. Sounds a bit goofy right? It's my experience that if you ever try and put a Nippon Ichi game down on paper like this... it never quite sounds right. You really need to play it for yourself.

In addition to a story that promises to drip with Japanese influenced humor, Z.H.P. also boasts a crazy amount of customization. Customize equipment? Sure! Customize your home base? No problem! Customize the Unlosing Ranger's insides? Of course! Wait... what? Yes - you read that correctly. You can basically customize everything in the game. And anyone who has played the Disgaea games knows that there's bound to be hours upon hours upon hours of extra "stuff" to do.

So if you're looking for a new RPG to keep your PSP busy for a bit check out Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger VS. Darkdeath Evilman (good Lord that's a long title) today! And please keep your browser trained here for our upcoming Unlosing review!
