In August, PSP and PS3 owners will have the chance to use high tech weaponry to put the hurt on dinosaurs. Why must these terrible lizards be euthanized? Because thatís what hunters do. Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter will see would-be Allan Quatermains taking into account factors like scent, wind direction and terrain to stalk their prey. And donít forget your dinosaur call (yes, really)! The hunt takes place in 5 unique and large environments, and the dinosaurs are said to have sophisticated AI and senses.

Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter was previously an iPhone game, but donít let that scare you away. It was quite well-received, and features pretty impressive graphics as Minis go. Check out some screenshots and a trailer if you donít believe it. For more information, read these bullet points lifted lazily from the official press release:

ē Interactive 3D dinosaurs, from the Herbivorous (plant eating) for novice hunters to the
Carnivorous (meat-eating) for experts;
ē Choose from among 6 weapon types Ė from a sniper rifle to an X-bow;
ē Utilize the map and radar to locate and track dinosaurs;
ē Exciting hunting: a non-linear hunting experience where players roam through vast
landscapes, tracking and hunting a variety of dinosaurs;
ē Interactive Trophy Room

Iím especially looking forward to getting those hippie herbivores in my sights. I hope Jurassic Park becomes a reality someday, because I want to eat a dinosaur.
