My boys P. Jack and Kuma were just lamenting how much they hated having to get up and leave the house to go get their oil changed or hibernate or whatever, because they just can't stand taking a break from Tekken 6. Well, I made their day today by revealing that Tekken 6 had hit the PSP, available in the stores and on the PSN! Now they can play on the go!

Featuring all the intensity of its console brethren, TEKKEN 6 offers an extensive single player experience, challenging gameplay modes and robust features to make it the perfect on-the-go companion.

Delivering the fiercest brawls ever on a handheld system, TEKKEN 6 allows players to test their portable might in a variety of game modes anywhere and at any time. Fight against a series of AI-controlled characters in Arcade mode or go through a sequence of battles to collect in-game money in Time Attack, Survival and Gold Rush modes. TEKKEN 6 also sees the return of many familiar faces and new characters to create the largest line-up in franchise history. With a robust customization feature, players will be able to personalize their favorite warrior with almost limitless possibilities.

In addition to containing all 18 battle stages found in the home console version, TEKKEN 6 for the PSP system will also support ad-hoc multiplayer battles across an additional four stages. Furthermore, players will have the ability to transfer ghost data allowing fights against opponents' characters even when not connected with them.

BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE! My other pals King and Yoshimitsu were bitching about how when they play online games against Heihachi and Eddy, those dudes have horrible ping and they never know until the games starts and it is lagging. Well, the Tekken Lords listened and they are releasing an update AS WE SPEAK that improves on a few issues in the PS3 version of the game.

To further enhance player’s online gameplay experience, the new update will be available on Nov. 26, 2009 and include:

· Improve input response - Improve game's responsiveness to button/command inputs.
· Selectable search priorities for ranked matches - Players will be able to set search priorities for opponents in ranked matches based on comparable rank or connection speed quality as well as area.
· Optimize data transmission between fighters and spectators – The fight data will be optimized in order to reduce the bandwidth load on the host’s console.
· Signal strength bars – The update will improve the signal strength bar to reflect connection quality more accurately.
· Chance to cancel match - The update will allow players to cancel the match before it begins after displaying the opponents signal strength.

This update is separate from the online co-op Scenario Campaign mode download which is scheduled for this winter.

FIGHT!
