Developed by Sony Computer Entertainment (you might have heard of them) and published by Nippon Ichi Software, best known for the seminal PS1 title Rhapsody, A Musical Adventure (and a coupe of other little titles, like Disgaea, Atelier Iris, and La Pucelle: Tactics) announces that their newest PSP title, Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do to Deserve This? will come to the PSN store on July 16th. Digitally distributed only, Badman will cost $19.99, providing an affordable price and easy (but occasionally a bit slow) access.

Looking like a cross between [i]Dungeon Keeper[i] and a mining simulator, Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! seems like it will be one of the most unique title to come to the PSP. Judging from the demo (available NOW on PSN) gameplay is extremely simple, consisting of clicking on blocks to destroy them and create "rooms" in your "dungeon". Soon you find you have some minions, and soon those minions are doing SOMETHING and creating new types of minions. Eventually heroes show up to invade your sanctum, and your minions (hopefully) dispatch them before they reach your overlord.

Your eventual goal is become a God of Destruction (apparently there are more than one of those?) by breeding your monsters to take revenge on those pesky heroes. Seemingly perfect for the portable nature of the PSP, yours truly had a great time with the demo, which showcased original gameplay in conveniently bite-sized chunks. If you can tear yourself away from Monster Hunter for a few hours, you will find Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman! What Did I Do to Deserve This? might just be your new addiction.
