Oh how we love us some Nippon Ichi Software. If it weren't for them and Atlus, our endless strategy RPG fix would never get sated, and then we'd turn to something like crack. Yes, SRPGs are a gateway drug. Luckily, we've got plenty to munch on -- and in portable form, no less - now that Generation of Chaos, Idea Factory's blend of something like Risk and epic army vs. army battles, is finally here.

Technically speaking, the game was already here, or at least somewhere, since it's primarily based off of the Japan-only Generation of Chaos IV, but the game will actually boast an all new storyline. The core mechanics of developing economies and waging war from the comfort of our couch are still firmly in place here, you'll just be able to do it anywhere.

"Idea Factory's principles reach their culmination with Generation of Chaos. With its innovative real-time battle system and the proven kingdom creation system, which interacts perfectly with the dynamic story telling, it introduces gamers to a new complete gaming experience", beamed NIS America President Haru Akenaga.

Actually describing the game is a little tough (well, that and we just don't know all that much about it to be honest), but we were able to get a helpful little video that might make things a little clearer. Take a peek and tell us what you think.
