Howard Lederer Goes All In -- Again

Simultaneous PSP and PS2 poker luvin'.
Author: Sam Bishop
Published: August 31, 2006
Well, it's official, poker games are all over the freakin' place. Even if you wanted to avoid them, you can't, so don't even try. No, seriously, just stop, you'll only hurt yourself and quite possibly small children around you. Like, say, if you were to walk into a game store right now, you would see the steely gaze of Howard Lederer and sis Annie Duke staring back at you. And that would break you; the man has a stare that can stop small vehicles. Yeah.

Of course, you could probably just suck it up and plunk down the cash for a copy of World Championship Poker: Featuring Howard Lederer "All In" because let's face it, we're never going to type out that whole title ever again. Unless we need to fill space in this news story, because there's really not much more to say other than the fact that both the PSP and PS2 versions have hit stores and are ready and waiting for you.

Actually... okay, we lied. There is more to tell. Like a list of features! Woo hoo! 19 different types of game go way beyond simple Texas Hold 'Em; Omaha, Seven Card Stud, Five Card Draw, and more (obviously) await you. A Career Mode complete with Lucky Charms (the bauble not the delicious cereal), mini-games and a Reputation System. EyeToy support on the PS2 version. Multi-table online tourneys. Actual poker pros -- including new pros! A challenge-like Scenario Mode that forces you to play your way out of situations!! Mixed Games!!! See, plenty of stuff!!!!

Oh no... can't stop using exclamation points. Whew, there we go! Oh crap, it's started again!! Time to end this story!!! Head on out to pick up a copy of the game now, or Howard Lederer's eyes will bore a hole into your soul every time you try to go in to pick up a new game. He's watching, you know. Right. Now.
