Crave Goes All In
You wanted more poker, right? No? Well, you're getting it anyway.

Poker fan or not, there's simply no avoiding the card-flipping craze these days. Like with any lucrative license, videogame companies have been all but hesitant to get in on the action, which might explain why we were treated to three different flavors of the same friggin' "sport" last year. Nonetheless, while some might have just been cashing in on the poker frenzy, Crave Entertainment seems dedicated to turning its World Championship Poker into a steadfast franchise.
"Our World Championship Poker franchise has quickly gained a reputation as the game for people who like to 'play' poker, rather than just watch it," said Rob Dyer, president and COO. "With new features like Scenario Mode, Multi-table online tournaments, and the Reputation system, World Championship Poker will continue to be the most realistic poker experience on any video game console."
The newest member of the family is World Championship Poker: Featuring Howard Lederer "All In". Yes, it looks like Mr. Lederer has become synonymous with the series, and he's not the only recognizable poker star showing their mug in the game. Returning players include Annie Duke (Howie's sister, believe it or not), Greg Raymer, Amir Vahidi, Paul Darden and Robert Williamson III, and are joined by a fresh batch of international talent, namely Marcel Luske, Thomas Bihl and Erin Ness.
Developer Point of View is once again deliver the tabletop goods, going all in this year (woo, puns!) with a plentiful 18 modes of poker including Texas Hold'em, Five Card Draw and Seven Card Stud Omaha. A Scenario Mode throws players a series of puzzle-oriented poker challenges, while a returning Career Mode just might lead to some good fortune with the added Lucky Charms skills. Build up a respectable reputation across any of the game modes and reap the benefits with a few new unlockable tournaments. EyeToy support is also back, so fellow players in those multi-table online tourneys can witness your weeping face as they rake in the chips. Hey, we don't make the rules!
Get those game faces on: World Championship Poker: Featuring Howard Lederer "All In" (we're still struggling to make sense out of that one) hits the tables... well, sometime this year, but in both console and portable fashion (on the 360 too, but that's a different story). We'll dish out the additional details once they come our way.
