The State of War is Upon Us
KOEI's feudal Japanese hack and slash has gone portable.

It's no secret that the PSP is, well, thin on new games right now. It's picking up steam, of course, helped by some releases from Konami, Sony and of course KOEI, who's all too happy to bring game-starved button mashers a little portable love in the form of a PSP version of Samurai Warriors.
And joy of joys, it's out! Starting right this second, you can pick the game up at any game store or major retailer and get to slamming that Square button with no mind to the consequences. Consequences be damned! The game boasts an AI commander, PSP-sized battles (read: you won't have to slog it out for an hour and kill 3000 guys before you finally take a map), and much, much fancier graphics than the first PSP Warriors effort.
We laid the whole shebang out in our preview of the game, but expect a full review in the next few days. If you need some kind of PSP SW fix, feel free to hit up the official site, which is, in a very, very cool move by KOEI, set up for both PCs and PSPs. That brings the PSP compatible site list up to, what, like four sites? Bonus!
