Composers Form Ultimate Alliance

For that Marvel game Raven's working on, y'see.

Having just one composer do all your music for your game is sooo last year. These days, it's all about hot, hot multi-composer luvin', and that's precisely what Activision has done with their upcoming super hero smorgasbord, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. The trifecta of talent has banded together to whip up almost an hour of music for your listening enjoyment as you beat the snot out of nearly every Marvel character under the sun... or suns... or whatever it is they can be grouped together under, we suck at these kinds of references.

Mark Griskey (who worked on a smattering of LucasArts titles like Gladius and Knights of the Old Republic II), Cris Velasco (of Maximo vs. the Army of Zin and God of War fame) and Chance Thomas (who most recently worked with Activision on X-Men: The Official Game and scored Peter Jackson's King Kong: This Title is Nine Miles Long) will all combine their Wonder Triplets powers to take the form of a cutscene, character theme and game level scoring dream team.

And really, that's about all we can tell you right now. No happy quotes from anyone, no fancy marketing lines telling you how having 20+ playable characters and a cast of over 140 familiar faces will magically equal the best. game. evar. None o' that. Just a simple update to things with straight news. So why are we padding this story with more useless crap? We out!
