Now, we can tell you it's finally gone gold. Shizz be done, son, and though it may have missed opening day (something the PS2 version certainly didn't), the April 14th release isn't far behind.

The PSP version is getting one notable exclusive, though: Home Run Derby Career Mode. The name sort of tells you what it is, we're sure, but in case you rolled your eyes or yawned or fell asleep or something, think about this little gem: you can rock the virtual 'roids (in your head) and go toe to toe to bat to bat to hormonal imbalance to hormonal imbalance with the likes of Jose Canseco and Barry Bonds. It's like a dream come true!
