Interactive Goodies Await You at the LEGO Star Wars II Site

Official site has something to woo potential customers? Surely you jest!

Y'know, if it weren't for the fact that we love LucasArts, and the fact that we love Star Wars, and the fact that we really love LEGO, we probably would have just skipped over this news story. As it is, it's going to be painfully short, because there's only so much padding you can do to extend the simple announcement that an official web site has stuff to play around with related to an upcoming game.

That would be this web site, which serves as a promo for this game, and really it just involves a bunch of stuff that's as silly as the game. What kind of silliness, you ask? Well, there's the kind of ha ha as outlined in [ps2feature=20]the recent developer diary[/ps2feature], of course, but we're guessing you're more interested in the other site, right? Riiiiight.

The stuff that awaits you at the official site consists of a handful of the usual screenshots, movies, wallpapers and so on, but there is a little gem waiting for you in the form of the Character Customizer that lets you pick and choose random bits of the 60+ characters in the game to create an unholy abomination that would cause George Lucas to keel over and then immediately start rolling in his grave. Fun!

You can also delve a little deeper into the game, exploring the characters and all the levels the developer TT Games (aka Traveller's Tales) has been working on, but really, we're just in it for putting human boobies on a Wookie set of legs. Cause we're sick like that. So, head on over to the site, read some press coverage, take a peek at how things are coming along, maybe download a PC demo, and make sure you tell 'em TotalPlayStation sentcha!
