PSPs Get Infected Tomorrow
And we’ll bet you just can’t wait, can you?

You’ve got to love Planet Moon Studios. The quirky, Sausalito-based developer has managed to carve out a niche rife with humor in the span of just three games. Well, make that four, since come tomorrow Infected will be upon us, bringing with it lots of holiday cheer and exploding zombies.
No, seriously, lots of both of them. Lotsa bofa dem. See, when New York City becomes infected by the walking dead and our hero, Officer Stevens, ceases to care that he apparently has no first name after being infected himself. It’s discovered that when his blood is used in bullets (like y’dooo), it causes the zombies to explode. Violently. Just like the Spirit of Christmas.
“With Infected, Planet Moon Studios has created one of the most unique and exciting gameplay experiences for the PSP system,” giggled Ken Gold, vice president of Marketing for Majesco. “It’s fast-paced, infectious, wireless gameplay is exactly what PSP system owners have been waiting for.”
You hear that PSP owners? Exactly what you’ve been looking for. The whole infection theme goes beyond the single-player campaign, though. If you choose to pop online, you and another schmuck can duke it out until one of you wins, infecting the loser’s PSP with your custom-designed avatar, which is then spread to other PSPs and the Circle of Lif—err Death continues. Fun eh?
Publisher Majesco teamed up with Roadrunner Records to provide the in-game soundtrack, which features bands like Slipknot, Fear Factory and Ill Nino and Chimaira, and was all too happy to pick in the entire nine-member Slipknot troupe along with other hidden characters like buxom vampiress Rayne from BloodRayne. Getcher fix tomorrow!
