Well, it's finally happened. KOEI's tale of a dork trying to get the girl by transforming into a hard-rocking superhero and defeating the Gravillians that threaten the whole planet. Yep, the quickest way into a girl's panties is to save the whole world. Make a note of that. It also means that Gitaroo Man Lives! officially has a release date here in the US.
“Packed with a quirky mix of Japanese pop art, lovable characters, and addicting musical death matches, the original Gitaroo Man became a certified intergalactic cult classic and was recognized for its innovation for music and gaming,” said the always quote-ready Amos Ip, SVP of Sales & Marketing for KOEI. “With the upcoming PSP version’s all-new Duet Mode gamers can jam to previously unreleased Gitaroo songs Metal Header and Toda Pasión.”
So yes, in conclusion, you'll b-what? Oh, that release date. It's coming November 14th, so bust out your calendars and start counting the days. Now, where were we? Ah, yes, so in conclusion, you'll be rocking out to all-new (okay, unreleased) songs in rap/rock ("Metal Header") and samba ("Toda Passion") flavors from COIL, enjoying more illustrations by 326, being offered the chance to pick difficulty levels, and of course still rocking out to songs like "Flyin' to Your Heart", "Born to be Bone" and "Bee Jam Blues".
If you have no idea what any of this means, hoooboy are you in for a treat next month. Just trust us, this is one of those games you want to experience -- especially now that you can play it with other people. Wirelessly!
