FRANTIX Comes Alive
Yes, that was a Peter Frampton reference and no, nobody will get it. But hey, Killer Game’s PSP puzzler is finally ready to go.

Yesterday we bemoaned the lack of RPG or strategy games on the PSP, but puzzle games probably should have been added to that list as well. Sure, we have awesome stuff like Mercury, but that’s just one game. One of the most promising prospects to come out of E3 this year, was FRANTIX (please note the all caps, designating xtreem-ness), which looked uniquely suited to stem the puzzle drought.
Now, finally, the Killer Game-developed (in fact, it’s all they’ve been developing since November 2003), Sony Online Entertainment-published game has shipped to stores everywhere, sells for a penny under 40 bucks and offers 180-plus puzzles to sift through. And look, it comes with a quote!
“FRANTIX is a unique puzzle-solving adventure unlike anything currently available on the PSP system,” said Chris Sturr, SOE senior brand manager. “It’s the perfect portable game for PSP system owners and puzzle-loving fans nationwide.”
Unique! Puzzle-solving! Adventure! Portable game! Exclamation point! Woah, nine cups of coffee is too much.
