Following up its blazing line-up of sports titles on the PSP, Electronic Arts has shipped two more today: NBA Street Showdown and FIFA Soccer.

“We are thrilled to bring both NBA Street and FIFA franchises to the PSP platform which now offers players an uncompromising gaming experience on the go,” commented Warren Wall, VP and Executive Producer at EA Canada. “These titles, along with the rest of the EA’s PSP launch line-up, prove that EA is committed to delivering first-rate entertainment in the palm of your hand.”

NBA Street Showdown, true to the franchise, pits players against the latest and greatest in the sport, suiting them with a set of over-the-top dunks, tricks and moves to boot to take on the challenge. FIFA Soccer packs in a whopping 250 team and league licenses, modes of play like Season, Tournament and Challenges, and a top-shelf audio and visual offering.

Being sure to mimic their console counterparts in terms of content, both NBA Street Showdown and FIFA Soccer offer a host of gameplay modes, encompassing solo play, wireless head-to-head action and the turn-based Party Play. On the side, gamers are able to partake in various mini-games or enjoy aural candy with the EA Pocket Trax, the games' built-in media player that even allows for watching music videos.

NBA Street Showdown and FIFA Soccer hit stores under the $49.99 price tag, each sporting the household-friendly "E" for "Everyone" rating.
