FPS On The PSP
No, Not that Doom 2 Emulation you put on there, H4x0r

Konami today announced that Coded Arms, their first jaunt into the FPS genre; also the first FPS for the PSP, has shipped to retail outlets nationwide. Retailing at $39.99, Coded Arms tells the story of hackers trying to… hack their way into an abandoned military computer simulation. It’s really your typical haywire computer program, sassy robot aliens, and meddling hackers looking for a good time in all the wrong places story.
The game will have a total of 30 different weapons to use to battle enemies inside the computer. This, obviously, is impressive. The single player mode is set across 5 different worlds with multiple levels in each. A random map generator is used in generating the levels, which will, hopefully, only add to the experience of being trapped inside a computer.
Wireless 4-person multiplayer is included with expected deathmatch, CTF and other modes that everyone plays when the aforementioned two grow tiring in the wee hours of the morning.
This game has great potential. Obviously, control is an issue whenever a FPS is put on a console; from what I hear, it is very similar to the original Goldeneye on Nintendo 64, which fans didn’t take issue with, at last recollection. While Rengoku wasn’t much on the fun side, Coded Arms looks to be ample repentance for Konami’s first PSP excursion. Look for it on shelves tomorrow.
