Our old friends at Electronic Arts (no, not you Trip Hawkins) took some time today to clarify a few things about the Battlefield 4 upgrade program. We've known for some time that if you purchase a PS3 copy of BF4 you'll be able to upgrade to the PS4 version for as little at $10. The exact details were a little murky, but that's the same general policy we've been seeing from most games releasing in that time frame.

Now we know the exact policy for PlayStation purchasers. You might want to get your pencil ready to jot this down. Ready? OK. All early copies of BF4 will ship with a one-time voucher good until March 28th that lets you download the PS4 version for $10 on the PSN after it releases.

Got it?

Now, if you haven't checked out the ongoing Battlefield Blog you should really take the time to check it out. A series of long-form posts that delve deep into various development topics, the blog is a great read for those that want more of an inside look at game design. The latest entry is all about vehicles and previous entries have taken long looks at the weapon systems, level design, music and wide variety of battlefield bits.

It's only six weeks until Battlefield 4 hits stores and half of that before the beta will be up and running. Oorah!
