Well, for our European friends at least.

We've been excited for European import Basement Crawl from Bloober Team to make it onto our PS4's and it looks like the long wait may finally be over.

While we don't have a solid date for the US of A yet today it was announced that January 29th would be the debut on the European PSN. We've got a pretty good feeling that the US release will follow soon after even if it hasn't been confirmed at this time.

“Basement Crawl finally gives PlayStation 4 owners a reason to invite their friends over to show off their systems – our amazing local multiplayer that is as addictive as it is competitive,” said Piotr Babieno, CEO, Bloober Team. “Basement Crawl rewards skill and practice, which means a good player will never get cheated out of a win by someone who grinds with better gear. For any PS4 owner out there who is still looking for a really fun, truly unique multiplayer game for their new system, Basement Crawl is it.”

As any loyal reader knows, local co-op is like apple pie to us here at TPS. Nothing says America like apple pie and sitting down on the couch to play a game from Poland together.

Early press compared Basement Crawl to classic multiplayer games like Bomberman and Spy vs. Spy while the art assets paint a picture of a dark and tortured soul locked in a studio forced to create characters. In other words, it sounds amazing.

While we might have to wait a few days longer than our cousins on the other side of the pond, it looks like the light is finally on for Basement Crawl.
