Sales figures for Virtua Fighter 5 aren't exactly burning up the charts in Japan.

As surprising as it would seem, the sales for Dead Or Alive 4; a XBox 360 title released more than a year ago beat out sales for Virtua Fighter 5, which was released earlier this week.

Despite early predictions that sales of the game were "sluggish", Virtua Fighter 5 has managed to beat the odds and to become the sales leader this week in Japan.
