SEGA Announces New Downloadable Content For Valkyria Chronicles
Keep it coming, SEGA!
Published: February 24, 2010
What's that you say? You haven't PLAYED Valkyria Chronicles? That is just crazy talk! One of the more innovative Strategy/Tactics RPG's ever made, Valkyria Chronicles combines tactical planning with a sort of real-time turn based action wrapped around some RPG trappings tied up with a decent (if a bit sappy) alternate-reality World War 2 story. It truly is a unique package, and one that was over all too soon for fans. Since the last DLC release 8 months ago, we thought that VC was pretty much done with, especially with the PSP sequel right around the corner. But oh, were we ever happy to be proved wrong.
The new content, “Challenges of the Edy Detachment,” will contain six new maps to play through with each map designed for the different soldier classes within Edy’s team. Whether you’re a Scout, Lancer or Shocktrooper, you’ll use the skills of each class to win the various battles!
“Challenges of the Edy Detachment” will be available on PlayStation®Store on February 25, 2010! In case you are calendar-challenged, that is TOMORROW people! (props to Ziggy Marley) So dust off that copy I hope you didn't sell off, and get ready to head back to the fields of battle in Gallia! To arms!
