It's about time. How long have we gone without rumble? I don't know about anyone else, but I miss it. Well, Sony Computer Entertainment America will finally remedy that this week. DUALSHOCK 3 hits retailers for the MSRP of $54.99!

I know there are a few folks who've been living in a cave for the last two years, so here's a quick recap: Sony dropped rumble out of their SIXAXIS controller due of a lawsuit by Immersion, which was finally settled and thus rumble is back. DUALSHOCK 3, the successor to the original rumble-less SIXAXIS that was introduced with the PlayStation 3, will bring the rumble feature to almost the entire library of PS3 titles as well as compatible PS one classics. Users may require an update to get titles working, so expect a short download for some games.

For those fans not particularly interested in buying a current PlayStation 3 and then a pair of DUALSHOCK 3's alongside it, you'll be happy to know that June's limited edition bundle of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will feature an 80GB PlayStation 3, the game, and one DUALSHOCK 3 controller for only $499.99. That's a deal, if you ask me.
