At least you can if your name is Zephyr, Joule, or any of the other choices in the official Fire Hose Games name our characters poll. Yes, you too can vote on whatever you feel the most appropriate name for a welding mask wearing beefy fella and a buff angelic guy are. Here's a hint: The official TPS votes are for Zephyr and Torch.

You might recall that we really enjoyed our time with Slam Bolt Scrappers at PAX this year, and word that the game is getting close to release has us planning our next late night office party (and hoping that the game still has the one-handed 'beverage mode' that we saw in an earlier build). Early odds have me as champion and Kyle watching the sunrise through salty burning tears of despair.

TPS supports Indie developers and appreciates their willingness to include the fans in the creative process. We got word that our old pal Eitan Glinert, Fire Chief, said this when confronted in his off-grid development cave. ”Who are you people, and what are you doing in my shack? What do you mean, we need more character names? Well, why don’t we just let those good for nothing slacker fans decide, like they did for the Child’s Play charity?
