Roy Orbison, America's most legendary sex symbol and last bastion of defense against the British Invasion will be rocking and rolling his way onto the PlayStation Store on January 15. "Roy Orbison Pack 01" will contain such hit dancefloor power jams as "Claudette," "In Dreams," "Mean Woman Blues," "Oh, Pretty Woman," "Ooby Dooby" and "You Got It."
Orbison's producer, publisher and widow, Barbara Annemarie Wellhonen Jakobs-Orbison says, "When I was a kid, my world evolved around a black vinyl record... How times have changed! Rock Band and Harmonix have given us a new way to experience music and now everyone can belong to a band. How much more fun could you have, than to play the opening riff of Oh Pretty Woman and try to sing like Roy Orbison?" Don't look at me, I'm getting this crap from the press release. How much more fun, indeed?
The tracks will run the usual $1.99 when purchased individually, or $9.99 for the whole Joe Six-pack. As always, the content is compatible with both Rock Band and Rock Band 2.
