[Rock Block] July 25th
KISS it, baby!
Published: July 25, 2009
With all these fancy pants music games offering new songs almost every week, we figured we'd come up with a quick, easy (and lazy) way to consolidate all the news of what you'll find on the PlayStation Store and in the games' own stores (if they have 'em) each and every Thursday. Handy? Yeah, we know, but that's just the way we roll.
Bear in mind that this includes both the obvious titles like the various Rock Bands and Guitar Heroes out there, but can also include straight karaoke affairs Sony's own SingStar titles or the Karaoke Revolution games too, not to mention stuff from other publishers that fit neatly into this category. No, there won't always be stuff for those other games, but at the very least, the tidal wave of DLC can be easily managed right here. Bear in mind that in many of the bigger games, the DLC will work for both the newest and previous entries into the series, so just because you don't have the latest and greatest versions, we'll still be able to keep you up to date.
Yes, we love you too.
[Guitar Hero World Tour]
[Vagrant Records Track Pack]
Thrice – “All The World Is Mad”
Alexisonfire – “Young Cardinals”
Senses Fail – “The Martyr”
Price: Single Songs - $1.99 | Three-Song Packs - $5.49
[Rock Band 2]
[Blink 182]
“Down”
“Feeling This”
“The Rock Show”
[KISS]
“100,000 Years (Live)”
“Deuce (Live)”
“Parasite (Live)”
[Weezer]
“My Name is Jonas”
“Pork and Beans”
“Undone – The Sweater Song”
Price: Single Songs - $1.99 | Three-Song Packs - $5.49
And there you have it. Next week will no doubt bring a handful of new tracks (and possibly a full album if you've been really, really good), so check back then to get the skinny on what's hitting that week. We'll be sure to update things as the official announcements come in.
Oh and before we go... a little reminder...
There are only five days left to submit eligible Rock Band music videos for a chance to win 1 of 10 The Beatles: Rock Band Limited Edition Premium Bundles. Even better – the winning band will win a trip to attend the VMA’s, walk the red carpet, receive their very-own Moonman statue and will be featured in a spot produced by MTV to air nationally the night of the awards show.
