Do you like Rock Band and smearing your mascara while crying about your girlfriend? Then you will be happy to know that Panic! At the Disco and Dashboard Confessional will be headlining the Rock Band Live Tour in the fall. Dates can be found at their website. Tickets go on sale this Friday. It starts on October 5th in San Diego, CA and ends on November 14th in Houston, TX. Special guests include The Cab and The Plain White T's. The tour has the mighty heft of MTV behind it (who helped Harmonix with Rock Band and the upcoming Rock Band 2), and between sets, audience members will be able to get onstage and play some songs from the game for everyone in attendance, in case you want to be seen by an entire music hall wailing away on a plastic instrument while surrounded by musicians.

Having been in college this last year, I can tell you I got a lot of both Rock Band and the Plain White T's. Rock Band was fine and all - it happens to be one of my favorite games, period. However, I developed a burning hatred for the Plain White T's and their infernal song "Hey There Delilah", which made me want to wring their sensitive, soul-baring necks until they spewed paste. I swear there must have been entire radio stations dedicated to playing that song.
