God dammit! No, no more from you people! Go back to your caves!

So Dragonforce is going to debut a new single (Heroes Of Our Time - watch the insanity here) along with their songs Operation Ground and Pound and Revolution Deathsquad (note: those last 2 are custom, non-official) in a new track pack for Guitar Hero III. But it doesn't matter, since they are all ostensibly the exact same f&@cking song.

You're probably all familiar with their song Through the Fire and the Flames, which is probably the song that is responsible for ruining the Guitar Hero franchise. I've had it with you guys. Guitar Hero used to be a game about pretending to be a rock star and listening to good music and having fun and high scores, and it was songs like this and Jordan that began to steer it away from the music fans and more toward "t3h hardcorez" players. You know, that guy who goes to parties that have GH set up so they can taunt less capable players and then get up and proceed to wag their e-dick while everybody has to sit and watch him make a jackass of himself. Now it's more about surviving songs than playing them. I mean, look at that! I'm no GH slouch, but I would kill myself if I sank enough time into that game to get good at those songs. I'm gonna be the first to say that it indeed CAN take more skill to master these songs than to play a real guitar, but Jesus Christ, look at that stuff. I think we've jumped the shark, and I can only hope World Tour will bring the franchise full-circle to the community gaming niche again.

Man, screw you all. I'm going to Denny's.
