[E3 2008] Rock Band Hits Mainland Europe
Showing up late in style.

Harmonix, MTV Games, and Electronic Arts haven't forgotten about the rest of the world when it comes to Rock Band... it's just that they've been rather busy. But rest assured, they plan to bringing the franchise to Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg by year's end.
To commemorate the event, Rock Band will have an exclusive launch window for the Xbox 360 in those seven countries when it launches on July 24th, but the PlayStation 3 will see release in those territories later this fall. Nine additional tracks will be included with the European release, along with the 58 from the original North American release, which include:
Die Toten Hosen "Hier Kommt Alex"
Juli "Perfekte Welle"
H-Block X "Countdown to Insanity"
Blur "Beettlebum" *
Oasis "Rock 'n' roll star"
Tokio Hotel "Monsoon"
Muse "Hysteria"
Les Wampas "Manu Chao"
Playmo "New Wave"

All downloadable content will be accessible when Rock Band goes live in these countries.
It's good to see Rock Band is finally making it way around the world. Such a solid game platform deserves to be enjoyed the world over. Now mainland Europeans will finally get their chance.
