Guitar Hero: Aerosmith marks the latest GH game to land on the PS3 and PS2.
Published: July 2, 2008
Between Rock Band's never-ending stream of DLC and the various editions of Guitar Hero that keep coming out, it's a good time for people who like guitar-style rhythm games. Activision shows no sign of slowing down, as Guitar Hero: Aerosmith rolls onto shelves as the newest installment in the Guitar Hero franchise.
"It’s going to give guitar and music a boost," Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry managed to say before being swallowed back into a sea of money and groupies. "And it's also going to give new life to all these songs. It may turn a lot of musicians into gamers and gamers into musicians."
The bundle comes with a wireless guitar sporting an Aerosmith faceplate, a copy of the Guitar Hero: Aerosmith game itself, and an 18 page tour book. Pretty standard stuff by now, but no doubt a treat for the hardcore Aerosmith fans out there. The track listing contains a lot of Aerosmith, as expected, but Joan Jett, Lenny Kravitz, The Clash, and a bunch of others make an appearance in order to keep things fresh.
