Vampires are coming to the PlayStation 3. Lots of them. You could even say it's “raining vampires.”
AQ Interactive announced today that they're bringing Vampire Rain: Altered Species to the PS3, a game set in a dreary suburban, west coast city in the US. Gamers take the role of John Lloyd, a member of a US special government unit, who sets out to destroy Nightwalkers, vampires who have been stealing people during the night to sate their bloodlust.
"We are very excited to bring Vampire Rain: Altered Species to the PlayStation®3," said Artoon President Naoto Ōshima. "The incredible power of the PS3, will allow us to give gamers a fully immersive experience. This will include: 5.1 channel audio, over 50 hours of gameplay, extra bonus levels, a lot of completely revamped animations, character interactions and much more."
The game is said to be a stealth action game and will feature a robust single player campaign as well as a multiplayer mode.
There's not much else we know about the game, but as we find out more information we'll be certain to let you know.
