Activision Casting Lines into PlayStation 3's Near You
Nothing like fishing in the cool of an air conditioned room.

I figure someone out there among us has to be a fisherman. It's one of the most relaxing past times since, well, ever. That's why it puts a smile on my face to tell you, whoever you are, that Activision, Inc., along with Fun Labs, is bringing you Rapala Fishing Frenzy to the PlayStation 3 this summer.
I know, it's not really the same as sitting in the boat with your dad and best buddy, but it'll have to do. It's going to be a heat wave in a month or less and you really don't want to be sitting out there on the lake all that time. This way, Rapala Fishing Frenzy can simulate the experience the best any game could hope to achieve, especially considering you'll get to use gear you probably couldn't afford anyway, and take home trophy fish you'd have to throw back as it is. And since Rapala put its stamp of approval all over the product (they are the #1 fishing lure manufacturer after all), you know it's got to have at least some bit of quality attached to it.
"A proper fishing game needs to capture the adrenaline-pumping intensity of sport fishing," said Adrian Filippini from Fun Labs. "Fishing Frenzy delivers big time with beautiful graphics and controls adapted specifically to each console. Rapala's involvement has resulted in a game with a new level of realistic fishing fun."
I don't know anything about sport fishing, myself, but if Rapala says it's golden, then I'll have to take their word for it. Maybe more discerning fishing types can tell me if it is when it releases.
