Rosario Dawson and Brian Cox Headline Voice Cast for Syndicate
Were the voice actors under mind control?

Syndicate is a re-imagining of the cult classic from 1993 in which players hack in to and extract mind-controlling chips imbedded from brains of civilians. The focus of the game has jumped from a real time tactical experience to a FPS. Today EA announced part of their star-studded voice cast of Rosario Dawson and Brain Cox.
Dawson, mainly recognized for her roles in Sin City and Grindhouse, will be voicing one of EuroCorp’s top scientists named Lilly Drawl. The demands of corporate overlords and the underground resistance weigh heavy on Lily’s conscience. The question is how long can this delicate balancing act last before her downfall and most likely her demise.
“I’m amazed how videogames have become so deep in story, delivering fantastic worlds and memorable characters rivaling big Hollywood films,” said Rosario Dawson. “I was excited when EA approached me to play Lily Drawl in Syndicate. She’s an interesting and strong female character. How cool is it to play the mastermind who designed the military chip inside the player’s head!”
Known for his roles in The Bourne Identity and Troy is Emmy Award-winning Brian Cox, who plays Jack Denham and Michael Wincott (The Crow). Michael Wincott is the voice behind Jules Merit from Syndicate and both play a significant role in EuroCorp’s organization.
“Syndicate immerses players deep into a dystopian world of unscrupulous corporations and chip augmented enforcers,” said Mikael Nermark, CEO of Starbreeze Studios. “These agents are the weapons of this war for market dominance and we needed strong talent to represent these intense characters. We are honored to have worked with the incredible Rosario Dawson, Brian Cox and Michael Wincott to make this world come alive.”
Look for Syndicate to be on shelves in North America February 21 and three days later on the 24 it will be available to Europe. Check back for our review after the game drops.
