Nothing makes us happier here at TPS than to see people earn serious cash for gaming. It makes us even happier when they get it for being ultimate badasses. When the Just Cause 2 team over Square-Enix announced they were giving a cool $10,000 to the lucky (and courageous) gamer who submitted the most thrilling 'Stunt Challenge' video, we just knew there would be some terrific entries. The winning video, Casino Fly-Thru, is pretty much the most incredible thing I have ever seen done in an open-world game. Not only did it win Daniel Steinberg enough money for a week in Panau, it got the development team to say these things about his prowess:

"An incredible demonstration of precision flying and rock solid nerves, amazing!" - Chris Dillon, Producer- Just Cause 2

"We had a lot of really great entries to the competition, but this one really stood out - it surprised us, looked very cool and showed some genuine skill" - Just Cause 2 Team

"I've seen some impressive stunts from the JC2 community since release, but never anything like this - flying a plane through a casino? That takes balls" - Mike Oldman, Community Manager - Just Cause 2

Well, Dan wins our ultimate badass award for October. Let's hope more developers jump on these emergent gameplay encouraging contests, because we love watching these videos almost as much as we loved the game itself.
