[PlayStation Store Update] August 23rd
Well, third demo in as many weeks is almost as good as getting a new downloadable game, right?
Published: August 23, 2007
To help better outline some of the stuff that will hit the PlayStation Network and the PS Store for all you PS3 owners out there, we've decided to offer short 'n sweet summaries of all the content you'll see once the US store is updated. In the future, we'll try to expand it out to include other regions, but for now, here's what you'll see this week:
[Games]
Nothing this week either, sorry kids.
[Demos]
Folklore -- Finally! You can play the very same build of the game that we got to play a few months ago at Sony's Gamers' Day to create this very preview. Find out why it was our surprise game of the show as you guide both Keats and Ellen through their respective worlds, collecting souls and fighting bosses. It's goooood soup!
Heavenly Sword "Making Of" - Episode 3: Capturing Performance -- Here's the one you've been waiting for. Now you get to see serious actor (and HS Dramatic Director) Andy Serkis all gussied up in reflective balls as he acts his way through nothing. It's fun and educational!
Heavenly Sword Anime - Episode 3 -- You know, kids, there's a whole lot more going on between leading lady Nariko's father, Shen, and Bohan, the merciless king that is stampeding across the land. Now, before you get the game, you can find out just what it was that caused the two to have such bad blood (trust us, it'll help).
[Game Trailers]
HAZE -- All is not as it seems with the Mantel corporation. As Shane Carpenter slowly pulls back the deceptive layer of Mantel's drug, Nectar, he starts to see the truth. Witness his transformation from grunt into freedom fighter.
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots -- Oh, yeah, there's this one game? And it's made by this guy? From Japan? I think his name is Kajagoogoo? Yeah, so he's got this game? You've probably never heard of it? Called Metal Gear Solid? Well it's an neat trailer and it's straight from the Games Convention in Leipzig.
TimeShift -- Oh, hey another TimeShift trailer! Time for more gameplay and fun with a healthy dose of time manipulation. Who doesn't love time manipulation? Commies, that's who. You're not a Commie, are you?
[Movie Trailers]
National Treasure: Book of Secrets, Things We Lost in the Fire, Vantage Point.
