Who's excited for Band Hero???

With all these fancy pants music games offering new songs almost every week, we figured we'd come up with a quick, easy (and lazy) way to consolidate all the news of what you'll find on the PlayStation Store and in the games' own stores (if they have 'em) each and every Thursday. Handy? Yeah, we know, but that's just the way we roll.

Bear in mind that this includes both the obvious titles like the various Rock Bands and Guitar Heroes out there, but can also include straight karaoke affairs Sony's own SingStar titles or the Karaoke Revolution games too, not to mention stuff from other publishers that fit neatly into this category. No, there won't always be stuff for those other games, but at the very least, the tidal wave of DLC can be easily managed right here. Bear in mind that in many of the bigger games, the DLC will work for both the newest and previous entries into the series, so just because you don't have the latest and greatest versions, we'll still be able to keep you up to date.

Yes, we love you too.

[Guitar Hero 5]
[Queens of the Stone Age]
“Mexicola”
“Avon”
“How to Handle a Rope.”

Price: Single Songs - $1.99 | Three-Song Track Pack - $5.49

That's it this week for GH5. QOTSA. Did you know they used to have a different name, and they changed it because they didn't like their fans and they wanted to get rid of them. True story. Ok not true. Actually they had the same name as some other band... Gamma Ray.

[Rock Band 2]

New tracks from The Raconteurs, Alanis, Electric Six(?), and The Flobots. Yawn?

[The Raconteurs]
“Many Shades of Black”
“Salute Your Solution”
“Steady, As She Goes”
[Alanis Morisette]
"Head Over Feet”
"Ironic”
[Electric Six]
"Dance Epidemic”
“Gay Bar”
“I Don’t Like You”
[The Flobots]
