[Rock Block] September 11th
Never Forget...
Published: September 11, 2009
With all these fancy pants music games offering new songs almost every week, we figured we'd come up with a quick, easy (and lazy) way to consolidate all the news of what you'll find on the PlayStation Store and in the games' own stores (if they have 'em) each and every Thursday. Handy? Yeah, we know, but that's just the way we roll.
Bear in mind that this includes both the obvious titles like the various Rock Bands and Guitar Heroes out there, but can also include straight karaoke affairs Sony's own SingStar titles or the Karaoke Revolution games too, not to mention stuff from other publishers that fit neatly into this category. No, there won't always be stuff for those other games, but at the very least, the tidal wave of DLC can be easily managed right here. Bear in mind that in many of the bigger games, the DLC will work for both the newest and previous entries into the series, so just because you don't have the latest and greatest versions, we'll still be able to keep you up to date.
Yes, we love you too.
[Guitar Hero 5]
[Street Sweeper Social Club]
“100 Little Curses”
“Fight! Smash! Win!”
“Somewhere in the World”
Price: Single Songs - $1.99 | Three-Song Packs - $5.49
Not a whole lot there, but it's a good start for GH5, which just released. And really, how many songs are left out there?
[Rock Band 2]
Coming next week is a triple track pack from Anvil, and a pair of tracks each from alt rockers Dinosaur Jr., 70's relics The Guess Who, and pseudo-metal band-cum-comedy duo Tenacious D!
[Anvil]
“666”
“Metal on Metal”
“This is Thirteen”
[Dinosaur Jr.]
“Pick Me Up”
“The Wagon”
[The Guess Who]
“Hand Me Down World”
“No Time”
[Tenacious D]
“Rock Your Socks”
“Tribute”
Price: Single Songs - $1.99 | Three-Song Pack - $5.49
[Rock Band Unplugged]
Two more track as usual!
[Evanescence]
“Bring Me To Life”
[Spinal Tap]
“Back From the Dead”
Price: Single Songs - $1.99
That's it this week!
