Guitar Hero 5 Hits Stores
Finally we can stop writing about it...
Published: September 1, 2009
The wait is over! You might have heard of this crazy little series called Guitar Hero. I myself was proud the when, many moons ago, I walked out with my new "axe" and went home to wail away to Franz Ferdinand and Bad Religion. Years past, and we saw Guitar Hero 2 and 3 enter the fray, and then a challenger appeared! Rock Band, with its addition of vocals and drums forced Guitar Hero to skip the numbering system and put out a competing full-band package, Guitar Hero World Tour. They also threw in some band-specific packages and a smash hits compilation. But now Guitar Hero 5 makes all those obselete! Except if you want the full band experience, becuase GH5 only includes a guitar. But it does support the rest of the band, you just have to already own the instruments. It even supports mixing things up, so you can play with 4 guitars, or 3 vocalists and a drummer. Or any other combination. Who wants to rock out with 4 drummers! Rich people!
