Fat Problems to be fixed... soon

Fat Princess has been a mess online, but Titan Studios has something to say about it.

One of the most eagerly anticipated titles on the PlayStation Network, Fat Princess had a lot to live up to. If you were an early adopter, you may have noticed some issues... well, a lot of issues whenever you try to play online. Connecting to online matches through matchmaking, randomly getting kicked, and other glitches have plagued online play for many users. In a word, it blows.

But, as the knight in shining armor that they are, Titan Studios announced on their website that they are working on the problem (which they better be). Currently, there are two issues on the agenda: Lag and Connection problems. But it begs the question of what went wrong? Poor netcode? A broken game?

Actually, the problem is sort of a no brainer: lack of search criteria. According to their latest post, games aren't being choosy enough, so people with horrible connections are dragging everyone down. So it isn't really Titan's fault (well, they SHOULD have been prepared), but really the issue rests on the heads of the users on the PSN. Personally, I believe there should be a speed requirement for PSN usage, but that may be a bit too fascist for Sony's taste.

Regardless, here's hoping Titan fixes the online play soon. In the meantime, I suggest everyone have at least 32 active friends to play with online, since bots aren't exactly open to suggestion.
