On February 12th of this year Monolith and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment delivered a solid sequel to one of the most influential shooters of this young century. Though F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin has only scared shooter fans for a couple of weeks now, WBIE has already confirmed more supernatural shooting action to come in mid-April.

According to WBIE's press release the downloadable addition to F.E.A.R. 2 will "include a Toy Soldiers map pack that will allow players to experience multiplayer from a new perspective", plus a premium theme and picture pack.

We have contacted WBIE for more information regarding the DLC including the question if single player content is about to come. We haven't heard back as of press time, but you know us: As soon as we do, we will let you know.

[UPDATE]: Against earlier statements, we have received word today that the upcoming map pack Toy Soldiers will be released completely free of charge!
