FEAR 2 goes Gold and scares us Black (or Yellow?) - damn, it just scares us!

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is excited to let gamers everywhere know that their latest addition to the Horror/Shooter genre - FEAR 2: Project Origin - has officially received Gold status, meaning that the game is polished, done and ready to ship.
How polished the game really is will be determined when it officially comes out in about two weeks on February 12th for the PlayStation3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC.
In the meantime we blasted our way through the official demo, currently available on PSN and Xbox Live. Our impressions were quite good, with a few minor hiccups, though we are confident that Monolith - the game's developer - has gotten rid of those technical issues by now and the game's PS3 version will actually turn out to be just as enjoyable as its 360 and PC counterparts.
Be sure to check out our written review of the game around February 12th to find out whether the wait has been worthwhile - that is if we make it through the game without shitting ourselves. At least you know now why Dead Space never got the review treatment. Yep, you guessed right - it's because we're a bunch of sissies.
