[Rock Block] December 2nd
We're Heartbroken!
Published: December 2, 2009
With all these fancy pants music games offering new songs almost every week, we figured we'd come up with a quick, easy (and lazy) way to consolidate all the news of what you'll find on the PlayStation Store and in the games' own stores (if they have 'em) each and every Thursday. Handy? Yeah, we know, but that's just the way we roll.
Bear in mind that this includes both the obvious titles like the various Rock Bands and Guitar Heroes out there, but can also include straight karaoke affairs Sony's own SingStar titles or the Karaoke Revolution games too, not to mention stuff from other publishers that fit neatly into this category. No, there won't always be stuff for those other games, but at the very least, the tidal wave of DLC can be easily managed right here. Bear in mind that in many of the bigger games, the DLC will work for both the newest and previous entries into the series, so just because you don't have the latest and greatest versions, we'll still be able to keep you up to date.
Yes, we love you too.

Karaoke Revolution has songs for the crooner in all of us. Pick your style and head for the stage! Go up-tempo with popular artists of today like Lady Gaga and Rihanna or challenge yourself to a more classic style from the likes of David Bowie and Rod Stewart. Additionally, Karaoke Revolution continues to provide genre-defining content by featuring the licensed music of the Jackson 5! Take on the challenge of singing to any of their #1 hits including "I'll Be There," "Dancing Machine," "ABC" and more. Additionally, Karaoke Revolution is the only karaoke game where you will find chart-topping Spanish-speaking artists such as Iskander, Luis Fonsi, Miranda and others!
Karaoke Revolution's enhanced game modes allow players the opportunity to throw the ultimate karaoke party and play with their friends, or practice hitting the high notes on their own in single player Career Mode. Play the co-op Party Mode and party with up to 16 players for an unforgettable competition. Don't think you're that great of a singer? Not a problem! Karaoke Revolution allows players to adjust their microphone settings in order to hear themselves or increase the volume of the original artists over their speakers!
