Yes, it is true, we really enjoyed our time with Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It's such a huge game with so many options, you can easily play it through two or three times and still find new stuff all over the place. Sooner or later, you will see all of it though. No doubt you will want more.

Well, this is the decade of DLC, so of course the folks at Eidos Montreal are more than happy to oblige you. Hitting sometime in October will be the first (of many we hope) installments of brand new content for DX: HR, this one titled The Missing Link.

"We are very excited for DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION fans to be able to further develop Adam’s journey in the game with The Missing Link DLC," said David Anfossi, producer of DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION at Eidos-Montreal. "Gamers will be able to experience a vulnerable side of Adam like never before, which gives the overall game a whole new dimension. The Missing Link propels players into compelling gameplay, beginning with Adam being temporarily stripped of his use of augmentations; new, visually stunning environments; and the continuation of DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION’s conspiracy-rich story.”

Obviously not much is know yet about how this interweaves with the existing plot, but what we do know is that it takes place in an all-new location, a freighter out at sea heading to a mysterious destination. We're promised new layers of conspiracy (how can it get deeper?), brand new characters, and the opportunity to reassign all your Praxis Points and change up your Adam Jensen.

You can bet your ass we are all currently maxing out our Social augs to try and get someone in Montreal to tell us more, and as soon as we have more info we'll dispense it right out to you, but let's be honest. With Deus Ex, the less you know going in the better.
