Thursday is becoming our favorite day of the week, not only because it puts us one day shy of our usual TPS Drunken Weekend Bash, but it means fresh updates to the PlayStation Store! If you're yet to experience the pulsating beats and interactive level hazards of Def Jam: Icon (which rose to retailers on the 6th), prepare to do so in a new demo, which comes to you free of charge. Or curious of what went on behind the scenes at Insomniac as they crafted their killer-app launch title, Resistance: Fall of Man? Footage galore awaits you.

Here are the updates in convenient list form (thanks, SCEA!), since we know how you love your news to be easily digestible:

-- Def Jam: Icon (free demo) - Featuring hip hop's hottest music seamlessly infused into the world around you, Def Jam: Icon's environments pulsate, crumble, and explode to life with every bone-jarring beat. Time your attacks to the driving bass and use falling debris and exposed environmental hazards to pound your rivals.

-- Resistance: Fall of Man (free trailer and three behind-the-scenes videos) - Resistance: Fall of Man delivers a thoroughly believable experience that blends epic military action and unnerving tension. Check out an exciting new trailer, dubbed "Voices," as well as behind-the-scenes videos discussing the title's gameplay, concept art, and level design.

-- Sony Pictures and Paramount Pictures movies - Watch teasers for upcoming Hollywood hits, including Disturbia (trailer), Premonition (trailer) and Shooter (trailer and special behind-the-scenes video).

And now you know! Tune in next week: same time, same place.
