[Shipping Out] Week of November 29th
Rats, zombies (again), dirt, and expensive crab. What more does one need in order to be happy?
Published: December 1, 2010
Welcome to Shipping Out, our weekly notice of all them games that ship from publishers to retailers in preparation for their street date a day later. In many cases, these games won't be on store shelves until tomorrow, but in the interest of getting the word out, letting the PR departments have their fancy quotes and saving us sanity as the weekly releases pile up, we're going to be consolidating everything down into one handy little news story at the end of the day, along with this description. Neat, eh? And lazy!
It's the TPS way.
[PlayStation 2]
Nothing. Mhhh...
[PlayStation Portable]
No PSP releases this week either.
[PlayStation 3]
Deadliest Catch: Sea of Chaos
The Deadliest Catch has become a huge success on the Discovery Channel, and what better way to make some money of the momentum this award winning reality TV show currently holds, than to release a videogame. I almost forgot; the game is Move compatible.
Nail'd
Nail'd is an off road racing game developed by Techland, the Polish studio that's responsible for the Call of Juarez games. Hopefully publisher Deep Silver is sending over a copy, so we can tell you if the game is any good.
[PlayStation Network]
Dead Nation
Super Stardust HD maker Housemarque's twin stick zombie shooter is one of the best downloadable games of the year. If you want to know why, read Aram's excellent review.
Funky Lab Rat
Help a rat escape a lab in this quirky looking puzzle game with move support.
–
That's it for this week.
Publishers: want to make sure we've got your games in our weekly Shipping Out blurbs? Just kick over those shipping press releases to Shipping Out (at) TotalPlayStation (dot) com and we'll make sure they get tossed into the rotation.
Now go, gamers, go and spend, spend, spend!
